Sandwell Consortium is proud of the success of its Skills for Sandwell employability and skills programme, which helped over 300 local residents in 2025-26 in seven community centres in Sandwell.
The programme, funded by the Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund, provided tailored support to residents who face barriers to employment, helping them build confidence and skills, access education and training, and move closer towards employment.
Skills for Sandwell achieved strong outcomes for local residents and demonstrated the positive impact that partnership working and community-based support can have across the borough.
The Impact Report below shows highlights of the key outcomes and the difference it made to local residents.
