Sandwell Consortium CIC was established in May 2011, when several community organisations came together to collaborate to develop and deliver services for residents. We believe that together, we reach and support more residents and build a better Sandwell.
Sandwell Consortium is a registered Community Interest company (CIC) and has successfully secured funding to co-ordinate and deliver services through its community organisations to Sandwell residents.
In the last 15 years we have built a strong reputation and track record in service delivery: welfare advice, employment support, community learning, health and wellbeing.
Our ten core member organisations (and our corporate Directors) can be found here. Sandwell Consortium has expanded its partnership, to reach more communities and residents across the six towns of Sandwell. Our additional local delivery partners and host sites are set out below.
We are funded through service agreements and contracts from local, regional and national government, NHS trusts and charitable trusts. We reinvest any surpluses directly back into community services.
We aim to provide exceptional value for money and to adapt to meet the changing needs of local residents. In 2024-25, Sandwell Consortium and its ten core members:
- employed 123 Sandwell residents and supported over 320 local volunteers
- secured over £2million in independent grants to boost the public funding received and to reach more residents.
